The Helicopter Emergency Medical Services (HEMS) Crew Member course is suitable for medical providers and/or rescuers who want to become crew members (medical/technical) on a HEMS/SAR helicopter.

This program provides the introductory information required by mountain rescue and search and rescue personnel for safe operation in and around helicopters. The program also provides an excellent tool for annual review for the experienced responder.

This avalanche safety course is designed to provide basic level avalanche safety information using the “Know Before You Go” curriculum developed by the Utah Avalanche Center. The program provides a resource for backcountry users who spend time in avalanche terrain and a tool for annual review by the experienced winter backcountry user.
